Organization
OARTY is a provincial association whose member agencies operate well over 25% of the treatment foster care and treatment group home facilities for children and youth in Ontario. The association consists of approximately 100 agencies which provide high quality residential care and treatment services to over 4,000 children, youth and young adults annually. Children's mental health services are provided in the community and through residential care and treatment services. The neediest children end up in residential care and treatment (RCT). OARTY's services are a fundamental component of a proper child welfare service.
