Standing Committees
Accreditation Committee
This Committee will explore accreditation opportunities on behalf of OARTY members.
Conference Committee
The opportunity to be together over an extended period allows us to network, gain and share knowledge collectively and ultimately strengthen our identity. To this end, the Conference Committee strives to provide an interesting and informative conference, utilizing the response from member agencies and current issues in the field for direction.
Executive Committee
To ensure the continuity / integrity of board business between regular meetings of the board.
Finance Committee
To ensure the financial affairs of OARTY are prudent in accordance with OARTY policy and good accounting practice.
Fundraising Advisory Council
To develop OARTY fundraising strategies and facilitate new revenue services.
Information Technology Committee
To plan for and develop information technology resources for OARTY and its member agencies in order to support the objectives of the Association.
Insurance Committee
This Committee was formed to research the marketplace for a Multi-Employer Group Benefit Insurance Plan and Occupational Disability Package to be developed as an OARTY Association Plan. It continues to monitor, provide feedback and develop new programs where appropriate and necessary.
Membership Committee
To respond to the needs of OARTY members and to screen for new members wishing to join their peers in the furtherance of the principles of OARTY membership. To develop publications, advertisements and other media to attract and sustain members to OARTY. To advise the Board and Executive on programs and services which may enhance OARTY to its members.
Nominating Committee
To ensure that all Members of the Board of Directors and Officers of the Board are duly elected/appointed as per the requirements of the Association by-laws.
Personnel Committee
To oversee and provide support to the management of the human resource functions of the association.
Public Affairs Committee
To mobilize OARTY membership in implementing corporate strategy and developing key messages that member agencies and the Association impart to the public at large and the government.
Regional Affairs Committee
To promote the principles, standards and expertise of the membership as expressed through the OARTY Mission Statement and Strategic Plan.
Research Committee
To provide the leadership in conducting meaningful research related to OARTY through the application of grants and projects supported by the Association membership.
